How much does a diagnostic check cost?
It depends on the fault. You get a clear quote before any work starts. Ring 085 870 5125 or WhatsApp us a photo of the warning light and we will tell you what is involved.
How do I get my car ready for the NCT?
Book a pre NCT check two to three weeks before your test date. We go through the same points the test centre does, brakes, lights, tyres, emissions, suspension, steering, and fix anything that would fail before your appointment.
How often should I service my car?
Most manufacturers say every 12 months or 15,000 to 20,000 km, whichever comes first. Older cars and cars doing a lot of short trips do better with an interim service in between. We will tell you what your car actually needs, not a menu.
Do you guarantee the work?
Yes. Every repair comes with a warranty. The length depends on the job and the parts fitted, and you get the details before we start.
Do you work on all makes and models?
Yes. European, Asian and American cars, and the diagnostic equipment covers all the main manufacturers.
Can you collect and drop back my car?
We can arrange collection and delivery around Ashbourne and nearby. Mention it when you book and we will sort a time.
How do I pay?
Cash, debit card, credit card or bank transfer, when the work is done.
How long does a service take?
A standard service is usually two to three hours. A major service can take the day. Bigger repairs may need the car longer and we will tell you up front and keep you posted.
